Almost every caption tool today runs in a browser or on a phone. To use them, you upload your footage, wait in a queue, and download the result, even though the Mac on your desk is more than powerful enough to do the work itself.

HeyCaption takes the other road. It's a native macOS app that transcribes, times and styles your captions on-device, using Apple Silicon. Your video never leaves your machine, it works offline, and there's no server to wait on.

We're a small, independent team, and we build HeyCaption for the YouTubers, podcasters, educators and editors who make things on their Macs every day.
